Phrase of the Day: "It's on the way" [Ya viene en camino]
Another day that God has given us to minister to this new church. And what a day it was. It began with a short ride to the church where we immediately began clearing tree limbs and debris. Our group then split into 2 teams - 1 at the church and the other prayer walking the city. Everyone's physical merit was tested today, but the Lord provided more than enough strength.Of those at the church 1 group moved furniture, bleached exterior walls and sanded trim. All in an effort to get the building ready for fresh paint. So many different hands from different angles all working towards one goal: completing God's temple in the middle of a city that is yearning for salvation! How amazing to see everyone working in harmony!
The other group moved onto clearing overhanging branches and tree trimming. One precarious cut after another. The pictures will speak for themselves.
Reflecting back we were able to experience God's amazing provision as He kept us safe from harm. the prayer coverage we've had from home and here is awesome so please continue to pray.
The afternoon brought a steady heavy rain and through it all we kept working - painting and cutting, cutting and painting not once deterred by the constant rain. It wasn't until we started wrapping up that we realized how filthy and dirty we had gotten (our deodorant had quit on all of us a few hours ago!).
Through it all we are all thankful that God is using us to build a foundation here. We came to minister, but it seems like we are the ones being ministered!

Hi Team! It so good to see you all in pictures! We are all praying for you. Brennan gets up every morning and prays -- without being told! How exciting is that! And so do I - HA! I can feel God working in you all and am excited about what he is doing in your lives and know he is working in our lives here too.
We are praying for great weather, boldness and alertness. Remember Matthew 11:28-30. He gives you rest when you are weary! We love you all! - A. Cherry
